Lotus Elise Series II
A Definition for Freedom
Humanity has tried for centuries to define freedom. And double wishbones with single coil springs over a monotube in a 800 kilo roadster falls within definitions of freedom. That can be written with hyphens but that’s a lot of hyphens for a small car.
And here comes the story where Carbon Motors gets involved: Lotus Elise Series II received an upgraded interior. Following the credo “do less to achieve more” our team was truly in line with this light weight delight. Seats are upholstered in black leather and grey Alcantara. Decorative stitching and embroidered Lotus logo are also in subtle color. To the extent that we wanted true carbon fiber coating on the sills and dashboard vents, this would have spoilt the spirit of keeping the weight low. Nothing in this car can weigh more that the sigh of a butterfly.
